Frequently Asked Questions
How do I secure my date?
Your date is only secure by signing the contract and paying the non refundable retainer that will be deducted from the total. Please keep in mind that all bookings are first come first serve basis. Having a trial or inquiring about your date does not mean you are booked.
What is your travel fee?
Travel fee is $1/mile to and from the destination and is applied to each artist or stylist. I do not provide services at locations that are more than 1.5 hours one way away. My location is South Coast MA
What is your minimum?
My minimum for weddings are $1,250 for Friday, Saturday, and Sundays weddings.
I have a large party, do you have other artists or stylists?
Yes! I work with a few trusted and talented stylists and artists that will help provide services for the rest of your party members. I can provide up to 6 services by myself. Any more after that and I require an assistant or additional artist/stylist. There is an additional fee of $100 per artist/stylist. Additional Artist require a minimum of 4 service each, maximum 6 services each.
Can I provide my own makeup or lashes?
If there is a specific makeup or skin product that you absolutely need, I have no problem using it as long as it is brand new and unopened/used. This is simply for sanitation and hygiene purposes. However no discount will be applied and all charges remain the same.
When should I book my trial?
I highly suggest 1 -3 months before your wedding date. I provide in studio trials Monday - Thursday by appointment only
How do I prepare for my trial and what can I expect during it?
Please come with dry, day old hair and a clean face fee of any makeup. Feel free to put on your moisturizer or use any hair products you know you definitely need to use.
For inspiration photos, please come with a few pictures of what you like and even of what you don't like! Be wary of heavily photo shopped and unrealistic photos - I always suggest looking at raw images of celebs from the red carpet as the hair and makeup is much more achievable and realistic.
I also send brides helpful newsletters that has information on how to prepare.
I'm unsure of what I want to try for my trial, can we try multiple hair and makeup looks?
I book 1.5 hours for hair or makeup, and 3 hours for both which includes 1 hair and 1 makeup look. I do have a hair trial package that includes 3 hours and as many hairstyles as I can create in that allotted time. This is great for indecisive or curious brides
What do you carry in your kit?
Multiple different brands such as Marc Jacobs, Anastasia Beverly Hills, Viseart, MUFE, Lorac, Charlotte Tilbury, Mehron, Danessa Myricks, Fenty, Sonia Roselli, and many more
What happens if my bridesmaids change their minds and don't want hair & makeup services anymore?
Once the contract is signed, the total amount of services and the total balance will be due regardless if a party member no longer wants to receive hair or makeup services. The client is not allowed to remove services once contract is signed. I always suggest making guests or anyone else who are getting services aware of this policy so their investment doesn't go wasted.
Do you stay for touchups?
Yes! Touchups begin immediately after the service end time. Touchups are $150 an hour. Changes to your hair/makeup into another style is included. Touchups are for the bride only and does not include the party or wedding guests, however can be with an additional stylist and fee.
